What is the cost?
$49.50 per month for REI members or $69.50 for non-members (prices GST inc).
Is it easy to install on my computer?
A set-up wizard will take you through the installation process. After that, you can access the Real Business First dashboard at any time by simply by clicking the icon on your desktop. The benchmarking numbers collected from all the other subscribing agents will be updated once a month.
Will I have to key in my data each month?
Once you have installed Real Business First, each month when you prepare your data for submission the program will automatically retreive the majority of the required information from supported business accounting software packages. There are a small number of fields that require you to manually input information not found in your accounts before submitting your data each month.
Will other agencies be able to see my accounts?
No. There is strict privacy on your figures so that no one else can tell that they came from you. Your figures are dropped into the bucket with the other subscribing agencies and lost in the mix, used simply to determine the industry benchmarks.
I’m a small rural agency. Will I be comparing my figures to large metro offices?
No, you compare your business like-for-like with other subscribing agencies, depending on your number of staff, revenue and whether you are regional or metro.
I’m not an accountant. Is there any point in knowing this stuff?
Yes! Real Business First is like having your own personal business coach on your desktop. It will help you understand the financials of your business so you can efficiently cut costs and improve your bottom line.
